职位描述及要求



Broad Function:
1.Management – Responsible for leading PRC technical team to participate in lead factory development aligned with company strategy and technology road map.
2.Execution – Responsible for project management on new product development collaborated with Headquarter PDT team including technology transfer, advance manufacturing process development and technical aspect overview on the project basis.

Principal Responsibilities:
1.Actively leads PRC technical team to participate in the new product design and development process aligned with product road map according to company business strategy;
2.Develops & trains engineering staff on technical skill in order to improve the engineering capability in PRC;
3.Plays a key role to work with PDT on technology transfer, and process development to grow into lead factory as a technical professional in PRC;
4.Explores new technology, material and manufacturing process including external vendors in Asia region in order to provide technical expertise in manufacturing technology on new product development in Asia;
5.Acts as key point of contact in PRC for coordination of New Product Programs assigned;
6.Prepares project evaluation, schedules and activities of new product program for management review and decision;
7.Leads and manages the local technical development team, contractors & vendors to ensure meeting of project schedule;
8.Carries out other related duties.

Principal Relationships:
Outside: Confers with suppliers and vendors in areas of manufacturing process and Headquarter R&DE.
Inside: Confers frequently with technical team including tooling, product design, production, quality control, and engineering in areas of product development.

Supplementary Information:
Education: B.S. or equivalent in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years solid experience in project management, various manufacturing aspects and product design discipline.
Skills: Knowledgeable of Product Design and Product Quality requirement.
Experienced in CAD/CAM, B/P reading, tolerance and quality inspection.
Good knowledge of the tools, process and assembly equipment for :
1.Injection molding process 2.Die casting 3.Precision Metal Stamping 4.Plating 5.Assembly and advanced manufacturing process
