职位描述及要求



Responsibilities:
-Create and implement a global supply chain strategy in support of the Global program that is synchronized with global procurement strategies. Drive best industry practices within all divisions and the supporting supply base.
-Implement programs to maintain the lowest possible total system inventory exposure, reducing risk for both the company and the customer.
-Leverage Global Commodity Management organization in support of strategic procurement initiatives. Consolidate input from commodity managers, site materials management, and personal efforts for presentation to the customer.
-Implement programs for cost reduction and lead-time reduction within the supply chain. Measure and report on project status internally, and to the customer. Support Design Services Procurement Manager (DSPM) activities for new programs for specific Global customers. Provide forward price projections, as required.
-Develop and implement programs to maximize schedule flexibility, while minimizing inventory exposure and maintaining performance to cost targets. Support sites on critical expedites requests.
-Direct customer quotation requirements. Interface with Quotation Group during the quotation process to ensure all costed Bills of Material are competitive, support the defined supply chain strategy, and minimize exposure to inventory not in-line with quoted pricing.
-Lead purchasing activities associated with site New Product Introduction efforts. Complete line item source awards, new supplier development, and item-master upload databases.
-Maintain compliance with corporate, and facility policies and procedures. Ensure the highest ethical standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to in the procurement process.

Qualifications:
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
-Experienced negotiating skills specific to achieving favorable prices and services.
-Strong organization, planning, and tactical execution abilities.
-Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
-Understanding of supply chain management, the contract electronic manufacturing business and practices, as well as automated and manual procurement systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business, engineering, or related field or equivalent. APICS, CPM, NAPM certifications preferred.
-At least 10 years of Procurement experience including negotiations with suppliers, commodity management (preferred) and local sourcing knowledge would be helpful.
-Around 5-10 years of Management experience including setting the day-to-day activities of direct reports, managing expectations, goal setting, performance reviews, etc. and Program Management experience in Project plan development, action tracking, resource leveling, etc.
-At least 5 years of Materials experience in planning, inventory control, MRP, supply continuity, etc.
- Strong MS Excel skills a must, MS Word and MS PowerPoint required. ERP experience helpful (SAP, Baan, etc.)
