CambridgeSoft has significantly gown our installed base of biology products to leading biotechnology companies globally. The goal of this project is to meet the level of service commitments to our customers, as call volumes increase for this product.

Scope of Work Activities

Biology Enterprise Solutions include the following products:

ChemOffice Enterprise Ultra – Focussing on BioAssay HTS & LTS, BioSAR Browser
Plate Management from Inventory system

Key activities include:

Customer project focused work – remote / on-site throughout Asia Pacific Region.
Customization / Configuration – ChemOffice Enterprise Ultra Package
Deployment – ChemOffice Enterprise Ultra Package
Training for ChemOffice Enterprise Solutions ideally Biology focused but market dependent
Providing electronic support for ChemOffice Enterprise Solutions.
Answering technical support phone line for ChemOffice Enterprise Solutions.
Update/Create documentation assets as needed

Skills and Competencies

Required

Solid knowledge of Windows / Unix Operating Systems
Solid knowledge with Microsoft Office technologies (VB, .net) – Programming Experience
Solid knowledge of Oracle Database technologies
Excellent English / Japanese literacy and numeracy skills
Superior written and verbal communications skills
Scientific knowledge, Biology/Chemistry educational background, work experience preferred.
Understanding of the workflows in Scientific Research and Biological Assays
Self-starter, attention to detail
Flexible hours to cover 11-9 PM (UTC +8)
Flexibility to train in Cambridge, MA
Customer training skills

Managerial Approach

Position will report to Charles Coyne Director Professional Services.

Meetings will be based around specific project work – customization / configuration, deployments, training etc…
Services Consultant‘s measurements will be based mainly on customer feedback regarding successful customization / configuration, deployments, training projects deployments and the resolution of QA issues.
Support Analyst‘s measurements will include resolution rate and number of cases resolved, adherence to SLAs.
Training and Orientation
Training in the US for a period of 4 weeks for familiarization with Informatics Enterprise Solutions and services processes at CambridgeSoft.
