Biochemical/Pharmaceutical Industry

Major functional responsibilities:
Operational:
- Secure aggressive goals for department are set ,and align all activities with goals achievement
- Oversee the daily safe, efficient, effective, operation of QD and LQ pro-duction facilities
- Ensure qualified product supply according to internal specifications and sales forecast
- Initiate, expedite, and report of the continuous improvement on process and equipment
- Responsible for all production related projects and ensure projects are finished on time and within budget
- Design, maintain, and utilize quality system for production

Managerial:
- Train, retain, subordinates by utilizing internal and external resources
- Participates in the decision making process of the strategic development of the QD site
- Build internal network to seek and initiate synergistic cooperation with DPQ
- Ensure all reporting are done on time and according to internal standards
- Proactively engage in the annual budgeting process
- Build and maintain a team with high performance.

Essential skills and core competencies:
- >8 years chemical engineering or related experiences, preferably with good portion working for multi-national companies in biochemical or fine chemical industries
- At least 5 years of production or project management experiences
- Possess strong practical knowledge on unit operations with hands-on experiences
- Post graduate degree or equivalent, in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or related disciplines
- Good command on oral and written English
- Technically minded but people oriented individual
